MICHELIA DOLTSOPA 'silver cloud' WHOLESALE

Michelia doltsopa makes a good flowering specimen tree or can be used as a tall screening or hedging plant. 'Silver Cloud' is the cultivar of choice.

Evergreen and capable of reaching a height 20m over time, this is also a plant that is easily pruned, and in fact can make a useful fast growing hedge.

Foliage is attractive year round, flowers are white, appearing in winter, they are fragrant, but not overly so. Easily pruned just after flowering in late winter.

Flowers are attractive, however they are not long lasting.

A reasonably fast growing evergreen tree suited for use as a large feature shrub or small tree or as a flowering screening plant. Prolific white perfumed flowers in winter to spring. Reasonably tolerant of dry condition if mulched to provide a cool root run.
