Acacia acinacea (Gold Dust Wattle)Flowering from late winter to early summer the Gold Dust wattle is a low growing species with masses of golden ball shaped flowers in season. The cultivar 'Ruby Tips' is a select form, originally called 'Red Tips'. 'Pot of Gold' is a recent release, a smaller growing cultivar. Reaching around 2 - 2.5m in height it is an excellent plant for a screen or informal hedge. Care and ConditionsGrows well in full sun to part shade, tolerates poor soils including clay and sandy types, is frost tolerant and in general requires very little care and is tough resilient plant. |
