Dianella brevipedunculata

Grown both for the foliage and the attractive purple berries, Dianella brevipedunculata is found extensively on Northern NSW and South East QLD.

Also known as the 'Blue Flax Lily' it grows best in well drained soil with good moisture. Growing well in part shade to full sun Dianella brevipedunculata is widely used for revegetation projects.

The blue berries last for a number of months providing added interest. The evergreen strappy foliage reaches around 40cm in height.
