Carex fascicularis

Carex fascicularis is a sedge that is well suited to boggy conditions, it will thrive in water that is brackish, including estuaries as well as fresh water.

Another sedge that will reach around 80 - 100 cm in height it has an attractive growth habit and can also be used in garden ponds as well as grown in containers placed in fountains and water features.

It is a plant that will die back in frost prone areas, it copes well in part shade to full sun.

Full sun to part shade in areas that are constantly damp or boggy. Fresh to brackish water is suitable.
