Baumea rubiginosa

Attractive upright foliage makes Baumea rubiginosa an excellent ornamental grass for any fresh water landscaping situation.

A rhizomatous macrophyte, it is a useful plant to provide sanctuary and breeding areas for fish. Reaching to 1m in height seed heads appear in summer, brown in colour. Available for sale in Viro-tubes for mass planting and larger sizes for domestic plantings.
