Araucaria cunninghamii - Wholesale

Also known as the 'Hoop Pine', Araucaria cunninghamii is a large tree that has a number of landscaping uses as weel as being valued for its timber. With its origins from Northern New South Wales and along the coastal foothills and rainforests to Northern Queensland it is a popular tree through both NSW and QLD.

Widely used as a windbreak tree in rural areas Araucaria cunninghamii is also usful as a street tree and a shade tree. A non invasive root system makes it suitable for residential areas. Also used in mass roadside plantings as a visual screen.

The name 'Hoop Pine' comes from the patterns that are formed on the bark over time. Very attractive to native fauna over time it will reach between 20 and 40 meters with a fairly upright habit.
